The “Yasu family” consists of a father, yasu Papa (56), who has mixed anxiety and depression disorder and myasthenia gravis, a designated intractable disease; a wife with moderate intellectual disability and dissociative disorder; a 24-year-old son, Sho, with severe intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder; and a 19-year-old daughter, Hime, with severe intellectual disability and autism spectrum disorder. On YouTube, he has been sharing his daily life with children with disabilities. However, in an update on November 26, 2024, Papa Yasu reported that a fire had broken out in the home shown in the video. He showed a photo of his house that had burned down and revealed how he escaped from the fire and that his entire family was safe.
