VTuber Sakuna Yuki unveiled her new visual on September 24. This visual renewal follows a trend of reporting that she was “renewing her visuals” in response to the scandal of her past illustrator, Gaoh. The new visuals are designed by Pekora Usada of Hololive and Buisupokku, with illustrations by Pekora Usada, Pekora Komori of Komori Metsuno of Hollow Live, and a character design by Metsuno Komori! and Komori Mato’s character design, and illustrator Yuuhime Hagure and Oto (Oto Yoshida).

Sakuna Yuki, a VTuber who debuted in October 2024 as an individual force, surpassed 1 million subscribers to her YouTube channel within two months of her distribution debut and has 1.06 million subscribers at the time of writing. The visual renewal was triggered by the underage whoring scandal involving illustrator Gao, who was in charge of Sakuna Yuki’s character design. In July, Sakuna Yuki, who has collaborated with companies such as Round One, released a statement on X saying, “I will refrain from using the illustrations.
