According to a source, Daigo’s appearance in costume as Hitoshi Matsumoto (62) of “Downtown,” who used to be the show’s MC, was viewed as a problem among Fuji executives. The show had aired a project with similar content last year, and Daigo had appeared in Matsumoto’s cosplay.
